Connecting youth to resources and support systems that help them better themselves now and for their future
Our Scholarship Program emphasizes continuous, unrelenting support services for students. In order to achieve that goal, the Scholarship Program is a creation of partnerships with educational organizations and programs to help adequately facilitate the necessary support pieces. By partnering with specific pre-collegiate programs, the relationships that students develop in high school with trusted mentors, administrators, and program staff are leveraged and further utilized to foster success in college.
We believe a student's success - graduation from college, employment, and overall sell-fulfillment - is achieved when students receive one-on-one services.
HIGH COUNTRY PROGRAM PARTNER
Mountain Scholars is a new program at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) funded by The Summit Foundation. Mountain Scholars works with the Summit High School Pre-Collegiate Program to identify first generation students who would benefit from starting at CMC for their first two years, and then continuing at CMC if appropriate or transferring to another college or four-year university to complete their education. Scholars selected into the program, work with the College Navigator, who assists students financially and academically as they navigate life beyond high school.
