Mountain Scholars
Breckenridge, Colorado 

Mountain Scholars is a first generation scholarship program at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Breckenridge. It provides hands-on college navigation services including mentoring, academic coaching, career counseling, and financial guidance and assistance to ensure student success. Since 2013, 61% of Mountain Scholars have earned a Postsecondary Degree, which is 50% higher than national average for first generation students. Mountain Scholar students are also 24% more likely to stay in school than other CMC students. Moniker Foundation has been a long standing partner and supporter of Mountain Scholars since its inception. ​

Trailblazers 
Steamboat Springs, Colorado 

Trailblazers is a first generation scholarship program at Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs. The program started in 2024 as a sister program to Mountain Scholars. It provides hands-on college navigation services including mentoring, academic coaching, career counseling, and financial guidance and assistance to ensure student success. Moniker Foundation has been a partner since the start of the program, working in collaboration with CMC Foundation, and CMC staff and faculty to establish the program.
