Program Updates

The High Country Region funding cycle will be open from August 1st to August 31st. We will be awarding 12 grants for $10,000 each. If you received a High Country competitive grant of $10,000 or more in 2025, you are ineligible to apply in 2026.

Continuing in 2026, we are not setting specific grant quotas for each of the four primary focus areas. This means that in a given year, we may elect to only fund organizations from two or three of the four primary focus areas. These decisions will be based on perceived community needs, the applications received, and the quality of requests in a given year.

PLEASE NOTE! We will not be hosting Pitch Days in 2026. Applicants will complete and submit a written funding request as required in previous years. Then, in September, staff will complete an initial internal review, narrowing the pool of applicants for the second phase. The High Country Committee, comprised of active board members, and Moniker staff will then make grant selections from the group of finalists.

Learning Sessions: If your organization is awarded in 2026, you will be invited to a scheduled Zoom learning session on October 7th. This will serve as an opportunity for you to meet us, allow us to learn more about your organization, and ask questions about your upcoming goals, challenges, and more. We plan to resume Pitch Days in 2027.
